Art is my religion - Atlas
Greek mythology is the most epic and cinematic line of stories ever told. Atlas was sent to the borders of night and chaos to carry the weight of heaven and earth on his shoulders. This weight for me is the burden of society and always the pressure of fitting in a system. Art and creativity for me are outlaws, not to shackle or oppress.
Art is my religion – Earth Shacker
Poseidon is the ruler of the seas and waters, also known for causing earthquakes. This myth inspired me to work with Robin Carels. A tattoo artist who worked on many celebrities. I’ve applied some of his great work to my art, shaking up the world of art a bit and maybe cause an “earthquake”.
This project has been created with Dutch tattoo artist Robin Carels. He is known for his work on various Dutch celebrities. We came together on this project in the early stages of WARBB. Robin wanted to create a NFT that showcased his most famous tattoos. Eventually we came together on a piece that showcases a roman theme and supports the tattoos with vivid colors.
Art is my religion - Wisdom
Hinduism is worshiping their Gods and practicing its religion in a very colorful way. It's inspiring and brings joy. Ganesha, God of wisdom and knowledge speaks to me because he takes away boundaries. As an artist I am a traveler myself, always open to new things in the pursuit of creation. The fact that all boundaries are gone, gives me creative freedom and an open mind.
Art is my religion - Purity
I love the stories and myths religion brings us.
They are a great inspiration for my art.
Art is my religion.
The roman mythology describes Cupid aka Amor or Eros as their god of love. The little chubby angellike boy shoots arrows of love into the hearts of men. With my work, I would love to see myself as Cupid in my own way. Bringing joy and happiness with the colorful art I create, touching the purity of hearts around the globe.
